Weekend Country Retreat
Transform Your Life
Friday, May 16, 6 pm through Sunday, May 18,
3 pm
with Kadam Morten
In the serenity of meditation retreat we
can take the teachings deeply to heart. Based on Transform Your
Life, Kadam Morten will guide meditations for developing insight
into the nature of our mind and the meaning of our lives. When we
meditate on the clarity of the mind we experience a deep inner tranquility
and peace, allowing us to identify those actions which are truly
effective in transforming the adversity and confusion of our present
times.
The retreat will take place at the Kadampa Meditation Center, our
beautiful retreat center set in the woodlands close to the Delaware
River, only two hours from the City. This retreat is ideal for those
who have been participating in our Transform Your Life series or
the Wisdom series.
($120 for retreat, which includes two nights
stay and all meals.)
"Without inner peace, outer peace
is impossible.
We all wish for world peace, but world peace
will never be achieved unless we first establish
peace within our own minds."
